Liberty EAP provides comprehensive services that provide help for employees and their family members deal with a wide range of personal problems that often affect both their work and personal adjustment.

Easy Access:

Through the use of our toll free number, clients can readily access services and speak with intake specialists.

Face to Face Assessment:

Liberty EAP provides office based assessment services by licensed, professional counselors at convenient locations nationwide.

Short-term Counseling Services:

At no fee to employees or family members, licensed counselors provide in person counseling sessions for issues that can be appropriately treated clinically within a short-term model.

Personal Telephone Consultation:

Whenever necessary or requested, and clinically appropriate, licensed counselors can provide initial phone assessment and subsequent telephone counseling to help employees.

Referral Coordination:

When clinically necessary, referrals are made to carefully screened professional treatment specialists, as well as to community based agencies, self-help groups and private treatment centers.

Follow-Up:

Masters level licensed social workers consult with individuals who have requested assistance to confirm that an appropriate resolution of their problem has been achieved.

Confidentiality:

Maintain a confidential EAP service consistent with federal, state and ethical requirements, including HIPPA.

Emergency Services:

Through the use of our toll free number, counselors are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to deal with any crisis situation which may warrant attention either during or after normal business hours.

How does the EAP provide help for employees?

Often personal problems are so complicated that it can be difficult to know their exact nature or the degree of severity. The Employee Assistance Program can help you sort out problems and help you find the best way to solve them.

How can I use the program?

You or a family member can give us a call. In most cases, we will arrange a person-to- person interview with one of our specially trained counselors. During the interview, we will discuss your problem in detail, and help you decide if you need further specialized assistance.

What is the cost?

At no cost to you, the EAP will provide a professional assessment to determine the nature of your problem. If you are referred to further specialized treatment, the amount of insurance coverage will vary depending on your group plan.

In addition, some medical facilities, community agencies, and private practitioners offer special financial arrangements for clients referred by a company EAP. Therefore, your EAP coordinator is your best source of advice on treatment costs and insurance coverage.

Strictly Confidential!

You and the Employee Assistance staff are the only people who will know when you use the EAP. Nothing is sent to your supervisor (or anyone else) unless you authorize it. Nothing you talk about will be placed in your personnel or medical record. The confidentiality of the program is very closely guarded.
